We believe that one of the most powerful motivators by far is a clear vision. With the help of the Lord, we trust that you will grasp the vision that is being laid out for you in this document. Our casting, and your catching of the GCC vision is the first step in this process. We fully expect that your heart should be leaping with joy and gladness to hear all Christians everywhere being encouraged to join together to help spread the Good News of Jesus Christ!

It is God's heart and desire for all men to know Him, to have a personal saving relationship with Him, and to worship Him. Together, we must give every single person in the world an opportunity to respond to the Gospel. We can best accomplish this by working together in a spirit of total cooperation and harmony.

The second step is for you to get involved personally. We suggest to you that worldwide evangelism has never been hindered by a lack of adequate resources. If the spread of the Gospel has been hindered by anything at all, it has been by the lack of unity among the Family of God, and our own lack of compassion for the lost. You can us help overcome these problems now by agreeing to join us in this effort in whatever way the Lord leads you. Together we can do anything.

Because we want to reach out to all Christians everywhere, the third step in the process is for you to help us inform and enlist the participation of others. You can easily do that by giving a copy of this same document to other Christians that you know personally. That is all; you need not do anything else. In fact, we specifically request that you do not ask others to do anything more than carefully read this ministry overview. We have complete faith that the Holy Spirit will take care of everything else. God will deal with their hearts individually, just as we believe He is doing now with you.

We encourage you to respond to this invitation to take part in the Great Commission Coalition. As we have already mentioned, there are a number of ways for you to be actively involved. In the paragraphs and sections that follow, we describe more fully the manner in which the GCC has been structured, the procedures that we are utilizing to administer this ministry, and specific opportunities for you to participate.

Please realize that what you are about to read is very important. Before you go any further, we ask you to please stop and pray for just a few moments.

…may we suggest that you first of all thank God for having saved you. None of us deserve the mercy and grace that He has so freely given us. For your salvation, you should be abundantly thankful.

…pray that God will open your spiritual eyes now as you continue to read on. Ask Him for clarity of thought, and ask Him to help you to understand not only what the GCC is doing, but in what way He desires for you to be involved as we work together in unity to spread the Gospel to others all around the world.

…we also ask you to plead for God to draw the lost souls of mankind unto Himself. Perhaps you have never done this before. Perhaps you simply need to do so again. It is important. He alone is the seeker of the lost. Finally, ask the Lord to burden your heart for lost people as well, and ask Him to help you as you work and try to fulfill the Great Commission task.

Remember, prayer is a two-way communication. If you will pray an earnest prayer similar to this, humbly and with a clean heart, you just might be amazed at what God has to say to you in return. Be sure to listen as He speaks back to you in whatever way He makes His voice known to you.
